A New Revival

THIRSTY FOR THE SPIRIT

There were a lot of revivals previously and when people prayed for a revival they wanted what was before, but we need a new revival. Revival is something that was alive at a time and now it is dead. It needs to be revived. Revival only comes by the Holy Spirit. He is the influence that brings that revival. The Holy Spirit takes control of a person or a group of people and brings revival and restoration to that person. In Luke 24:49 Jesus told the disciples to go and wait in the city of Jerusalem till they were clothed with power. In Acts 1:8 Jesus said that they shall receive power after that the Holy Spirit has come upon them. The Holy Spirit must come upon people. When you come to a meeting, you can experience the presence of God, but you must not get use to it. Do not settle for yesterday, but be hungry and thirsty for more. God will pour out His Spirit any time, if people are prepared to push further. Go one step further. Press through. The Holy Spirit upon people makes revival to come.

ALL ATTENTION IS ON GOD

You get the Holy Spirit by a thirst for God to do something. The focus and goal is God. All attention is on God and not on the people. God fills all in all. Revival comes when God becomes all. The thirst causes people to pray. Revival stops when God is not all and the attention is on devils and demons. Revival began when a thirsty group of people went out of their way to pray. All become God. There is a thirst for the fire and the river, the glory and the rain. All the songs are about it. When they began to focus on what the devils and demons do the revival stops. The Welch revival stopped because a woman wrote a book on devils and they gave more attention to the devil than to God. If you give attention to demons, they’ll give you demonstrations, but if you allow God, He will give you manifestations of the glory. God’s mind is filled with man and He wants to manifest in mankind His glory and power.

DO GREAT THINGS WHEN YOU HAVE THE SPIRIT

Judges 14:6 (Amplified) And the Spirit of the Lord CAME MIGHTILY UPON HIM, and he tore the lion as he would have torn a kid, and he had nothing in his hand; but he did not tell his father or mother what he had done.

Judges 14:19 (Amplified) And the Spirit of the Lord CAME UPON HIM and he went down to Ashkelon and slew thirty men of them and took their apparel [as spoil], and gave the changes of garments to those who explained the riddle. And his anger was kindled, and he went up to his father’s house.

When the Spirit of the LORD comes upon you, you can do things that you could not do before.

LIBERTY IS WHERE THE SPIRIT IS

Judges 15:4,5 (Amplified) So Samson went and caught 300 foxes or jackals and took torches and turning the foxes tail to tail, he put a torch between each pair of tails. And when he had set the torches ablaze, he let the foxes go into the standing grain of the Philistines, and he burned up the shocks and the standing grain, along with the olive orchards.

Judges 15:9,10 (Amplified) Then the Philistines came up and encamped in Judah and spread themselves in Lehi. And the MEN OF JUDAH said, Why have you come up against us? And they answered; we have come up to BIND Samson, to do to him as he has done to us.

Where the Spirit of the LORD is, is liberty. The devil wants to bind us up and keep us in bondage. Galatians 3 says Christ purchased our freedom. When you know your God, you are free. When you are free, you follow the unction of the Spirit even if you make a fool out of yourself.

BOUND BY YOUR OWN BROTHERS

Judges 15:10,11(a) (Amplified) And the MEN OF JUDAH said why have you come up against us? And they answered: “We have come up to BIND Samson, to do to him as he has done to us.” Then 3,000 men of Judah…

Judah represents the church members. They will come and say that if a preacher gives you trouble, they would help you.

Judges 15:11-13 (Amplified) Then 3,000 men of Judah went down to the cleft of the rock Etam and said to Samson, Have you not known that the Philistines are rulers over us? What is this that you have done to us? He said to them, As they did to me, so have I done to them. And they said to him, We have come down to bind you, that we may deliver you into the hands of the Philistines. And Samson said to them, Swear to me that you will not fall upon me yourselves. And they said to him, no, we will bind you fast and give you into their hand; but surely we will not kill you. So they bound him with two new ropes and brought him up from the rock.

The bondage that come from demons and devils do not always comes through devils, but through the church. When you survive the church, you really made it. Church people have a problem with miracles and the moving of the Holy Spirit. The devil wants to bind people that move with God. He will use the church people to get to them bound up. Samson let the people bind him, because he knew where he came from, who he is and Who anointed him.

BECAUSE OF THE ANOINTING THE BONDS MELT OFF

Judges 15:14 (Amplified) And when he came to Lehi, the Philistines came shouting to meet him. And the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon [Samson], and the ropes on his arms became as flax that had caught fire, and his bonds MELTED off his hands.

When Delilah bound Samson, he broke the ropes of his hands. He did it by his own strength. When his brothers bound him, the ropes melted off his hands under the power of the Holy Ghost. If you are in a revival, it does not matter what the people say about you. God will fight for you. In Exodus 14 Moses told the people not to fear and to stand still, because the LORD is fighting for them. The battle is the LORD’S. In 2 Chronicles 20 Jehoshaphat had armies come against them and God told them through the prophet not to fear, but to see the salvation of the LORD, because He was fighting their battles. The LORD sent ambushments against them and they won the battle without lifting a sword.

When you are in a revival, you know that God is all in all and you know that the Spirit of the LORD is there to help you. You know Who your God is. You do not have to stand up for yourself and you do not have to fight for yourself. Go on with God and do not try to fight people or try to sort out arguments. We saw it in our meetings now for four years. When we stopped fighting the people, the miracles became tremendous and the halls are filled to the full. We made God all in all. We decided that if the people do not want revival, we want it. You will be called a devil, because they called Jesus a devil. Without persecution you cannot enter the Kingdom. In all these things we are more than conquerors.

Judges 15:15 (Amplified) And he found a still moist jawbone of a donkey and reached out and took it and slew 1,000 men with it.

When you are in revival you’ll see thing happen that you never see before.

MORE THIRSTY AFTER YOU’VE TASTED

Judges 15:16-19 (Amplified) And Samson said, With the jawbone of a donkey, heaps upon heaps, with the jawbone of a donkey I have slain 1,000 men! And when he stopped speaking, he cast the jawbone from his hand; and that place was called Ramath-lehi [the hill of the jawbone]. Samson was very thirsty, and he prayed to the Lord and said, You have given this great deliverance by the hand of Your servant, and now shall I die of THIRST and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised? And God split open the hollow place that was at Lehi and water came out of it. And when he drank, HIS SPIRIT RETURNED AND HE REVIVED. Therefore the name of it was called En-hakkore [the spring of him who prayed], which is at Lehi to this day.

After you’ve tasted the anointing, you must become thirstier. You must stay hungry and want to see more of what God has. If you see miracles of healing, you must become thirsty to see that dead raised. Duncan Campbell said that every time he saw God moving it left him hungrier for God. Reinhardt Bonnke said that he wanted a 36 000-seat tent. When he got it, he said that he saw fields full of people. When he got masses in his meetings, he said that there would come a day when he will see 1 million people in a crusade. Then he got 1 million people last year in one meeting. Then after that he preached to two million people. Then he said that he is thirsty for more.

The thirsty people are those that can have another revival. Be thirsty enough to pray and realize that God is all in all. Get the devils, demons and people out of your vocabulary. When Reinhardt Bonnke got of the plain in Calcutta in India, the people asked him if he could feel the demon power. He told them that the only thing that he could feel is the Holy Spirit. He could not wait for the meeting to begin. You can be aware of demons if you are in the flesh, or you can be in the Spirit and feel the anointing and see miracles.

AWARE OF DEVILS AND DEMONS OR GOD

People are so aware of demons in their cities and churches instead of being aware of God. When you make God all in all, the Spirit of God comes in. Revivals stop when people give more attention is given to the devil. Revival stops when people talks more about what the devil is doing in their cities than what God is doing. When there is revival the people talks about God that is so great and good. Jesus did not walk around talking about the devil. He did not tell the disciples to watch out for the devils. He told them to go to the cities and drive the devils out. He told them to bring the kingdom and to drive the devils out. Christians have the attitude of they are so spiritual and they are on the devil’s list of the most wanted. None is so special above another. We are all washed in the same blood and born anew by the same spirit. Jesus conquered Satan and defeated principalities and powers. Jesus was manifested for the purpose of destroying the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). Colossians 2:14,15 says that Jesus conquered the devil and the letter of intent that stood against us was nailed to the cross and completely wiped out. Fix your eyes on the right place. Do not fix it on problems and circumstances.

1 Timothy 4:1 says that in the last days people will fall from the faith and give heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. 1 Timothy 4:7 says that people will go for novels fables and stories. 1 Timothy 1:7 says that people will go for genealogies, bloodlines and forefathers. God tells us to go for faith and to stir up the gift and faith in you. There are a lot of end time books in Christian bookshops available, but at the bottom of them stands that it is a novel. There are also movies on the end times, but all of them are myths and fables. The most of them tells more about what the devil is going to do on the earth than what God is going to do on the earth. The Gospel is the good news of Jesus Christ and not speculations about the doings of the devil that only stirs fear. You must stir up faith and the Holy Spirit. You must disapprove of these things. When people come and tell you of what the devil is doing in their city, you must disapprove of it and get the fire of God to burn on the inside. You do not sit around the same fire as the devil.

KNOWLEDGE OF DEVILS PUFFS UP

2 Corinthians 8:1 (Amplified) Now about food offered to idols: of course we know that all of us possess KNOWLEDGE [CONCERNING THESE MATTERS. Yet mere] knowledge causes people to be puffed up (to bear themselves loftily and be proud), but love (affection and goodwill and benevolence) edifies and builds up and encourages one to grow [to his full stature].

The Word of God comes alive in your heart by spending time with it and not sitting at the golf course every day. Knowledge of idols puffs you up, but the people of God perish for a lack of knowledge of God’s Word (Hosea 4:6). Christian leaders become puffed up because of the knowledge they have of idols and demons. They want to declare the Word with all the things that is happening in the world instead of declaring the Word with the Word by spending time with God.

AN IDOL IS NOTHING

1 Corinthians 8:2-7 (Amplified) If anyone imagines that he has come to know and understand much [of divine things, without love], he does not yet perceive and recognize and understand as strongly and clearly, nor has he become as intimately acquainted with anything as he ought or as is necessary. But if one loves God truly [with affectionate reverence, prompt obedience, and grateful recognition of His blessing], he is known by God [recognized as worthy of His intimacy and love, and he is owned by Him]. In this matter, then, of eating food offered to idols, we know that an idol is nothing (has no real existence) and that THERE IS NO GOD BUT ONE.

For although there may be so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth, as indeed there are many of them, both of gods and of lords and masters. Yet for us there is [only] one God, the Father, Who is the Source of all things and for Whom we [have life], and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through and by Whom are all things and through and by Whom we [ourselves exist]. Nevertheless, not all [believers] possess this knowledge. But some, through being all their lives until now accustomed to [thinking of] idols [as real and living], still consider the food [offered to an idol] as that sacrificed to an [actual] god; and their weak consciences become defiled and injured if they eat [it].

When you eat food that is offered to an idol and acknowledge it, you are still aware of the devil. If you say so what, it means nothing. If you realize that God is greater than Mohammed is or any other so called god, your conscience is not weak. Christians goes to shops and bond devils when they buy halaal food. Their consciences are weak. Christians must wake up and realize that God is awesome and He is real and alive.

1 Corinthians 10:1-5(a) (Amplified) For I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, that our forefathers were all under and protected by the cloud [in which God’s Presence went before them], and every one of them passed safely through the [Red] Sea. And each one of them [allowed himself also] to be baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea [they were thus brought under obligation to the Law, to Moses, and to the covenant, consecrated and set apart to the service of God]. And all [of them] ate the same spiritual (supernaturally given) food. And they all drank the same spiritual (supernaturally given) drink. For they drank from a spiritual Rock which followed them [produced by the sole power of God Himself without natural instrumentality], and the Rock was Christ. Nevertheless, God was not pleased with the great majority of them…

God must be all and you must not have knowledge of demons, devils and idols. All of Israel drank from the Rock that was Christ. Not all of them broke through in the revival, because they lusted after the flesh and they were more aware of what the devil was doing. They care more for Egypt than on God. How thirsty are you for God? Are you so thirsty that you will place your mindset on God is all? People get upset because you belittle the devil. People do not like it when you touch their idols. God is all and when He stays all, you will get a revival. Stay thirsty for the river and know that an idol is nothing. Then you will get a revival.

Isaiah 40:5,10,11,18-25,28,29 (Amplified) And the glory (majesty and splendor) of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it.

Behold, the Lord God will come with might, and His arm will rule for Him. Behold, His reward is with Him, and His recompense before Him. He will feed His flock like a shepherd: He will gather the lambs in His arm, He will carry them in His bosom and will gently lead those that have their young.

To whom then will you liken God? Or with what likeness will you compare Him? The graven image! A workman casts it and goldsmith overlays it with gold and casts silver chains for it. He who is so impoverished that he has no offering or oblation or rich gift to give [to his god is constrained to make a wooden offering, an idol; so he] chooses a tree that will not rot; he seeks out a skillful craftsman to carve and set up an image that will not totter or deteriorate. [You worshipers of idols, you are without excuse.] Do you not know? Have you not heard? Has it not been told you from the beginning? [These things ought to convince you of God’s omnipotence and of the folly of bowing to idols.] Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth? It is God, Who sits above the circle (the horizon) of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; it is He Who stretches out the heavens like [gauze] curtains and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in. Who brings dignitaries to nothing, Which makes the judges and rulers of the earth as chaos (emptiness, falsity, and futility)? Yes, these men are scarcely planted, scarcely are they sown, scarcely does their stock take root in the earth, when [the Lord] blows upon them and they wither, and the whirlwind or tempest takes them away like stubble. To whom then will you liken Me, that I should be equal to him? says the Holy One.
Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, does not faint or grow weary; there is no searching of His understanding. He gives power to the faint and weary, and to him who has no might He increases strength [causing it to multiply and making it to abound].

Isaiah 41:7,13,17-24 (Amplified) So the carpenter encourages the goldsmith, and he who smoothes [the metal] with the hammer [encourages] him who smites the anvil, saying of the soldering, That is good! And he fastens it with nails so that it cannot be moved.

For I the Lord your God hold your right hand; I am the Lord, Who says to you, Fear not; I will help you!

The poor and needy are seeking water when there is none; their tongues are parched with thirst. I the Lord will answer them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them. I will open rivers on the bare heights, and fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water. I will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the acacia, the myrtle, and the wild olive; I will set the cypress in the desert, the plane [tree] and the pine [tree] together. Those men may see and know and consider and understand together that the hand of the Lord has done this, that the Holy One of Israel has created it. [You idols made by men’s hands, prove your divinity!] Produce your cause [set forth your case], says the Lord. Bring forth your strong proofs, says the King of Jacob. Let them bring them forth and tell us what is to happen. Let them tell us the former things, what they are that we may consider them and know the outcome of them; or declare to us the things to come. Tell us the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that you are gods; yes, do good or do evil [something or other], that we may stare in astonishment and be dismayed as we behold [the miracle] together! Behold, you [idols] are nothing, and your work is nothing! The worshiper who chooses you is an abomination [extremely disgusting and shamefully vile in God’s sight].

Isaiah 42:5-9,13,16,17 (Amplified) Thus says God the Lord-He Who created the heavens and stretched them forth, He Who spread abroad the earth and that which comes out of it, He Who gives breath to the people on it and spirit to those who walk in it. I the Lord have called You [the Messiah] for a righteous purpose and in righteousness; I will take You by the hand and will keep You; I will give You for a covenant to the people [Israel], for a light to the nations [Gentiles]. To open the eyes of the blind, to bring out prisoners from the dungeon, and those who sit in darkness from the prison. I am the Lord; that is My name! And My glory I will not give to another, nor My praise to graven images. Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I now declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them.

The Lord will go forth like a mighty man, He will rouse up His zealous indignation and vengeance like a warrior; He will cry, yes, He will shout aloud, He will do mightily against His enemies. And I will bring the blind by a way that they know not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known. I will make darkness into light before them and make uneven places into a plain. These things I have determined to do [for them]; and I will not leave them forsaken. They shall be turned back, they shall be utterly put to shame, who trust in graven images, who say to molten images, You are our gods.

Isaiah 43:1-3(a), 5-13,15-20,25 (Amplified) BUT NOW [in spite of past judgments for Israel’s sins], thus says the Lord, He Who created you, O Jacob, and He Who formed you, O Israel: Fear not! For I have redeemed you [ransomed you by paying a price instead of leaving you captives]; I have called you by your name; you are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned or scorched, nor will the flame kindle upon you. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior…

Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your offspring from the east [where they are dispersed] and gather you from the west. I will say to the north, Give up! and to the south, Keep not back. Bring My sons from afar and My daughters from the ends of the earth. Even everyone who is called by My name, whom I have created for My glory, whom I have formed, whom I have made. Bring forth the blind people who have eyes and the deaf who have ears. Let all the nations be gathered together and let the peoples be assembled. Who among [the idolaters] could predict this [that Cyrus would be the deliverer of Israel] and show us the former things? Let them bring their witnesses, that they may be justified, or let them hear and acknowledge, It is the truth. You are My witnesses, says the Lord, and My servant whom I have chosen, that you may know Me, believe Me and remain steadfast to Me, and understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after Me. I, even I, am the Lord, and besides Me there is no Savior. I have declared [the future] and have saved [the nation in times of danger], and I have shown [that I am God]-when there was no strange and alien god among you; therefore you are My witnesses, says the Lord, that I am God. Yes, from the time of the first existence of day and from this day forth I am He; and there is no one who can deliver out of My hand. I will work, and who can hinder or reverse it?

I am the Lord, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King. Thus says the Lord, Who makes a way through the sea and a path through the mighty waters, Who brings forth chariot and horse, army and mighty warrior. They lie down together, they cannot rise; they are extinguished, they are quenched like a lampwick. Do not [earnestly] remember the former things; neither consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. The beasts of the field honor Me, the jackals and the ostriches, because I give waters in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, to give drink to My people, My chosen…

I, even I, am He Who blots out and cancels your transgressions, for My own sake, and I will not remember your sins.

Isaiah 44:3,6,8-11,19 (Amplified) For I will pour water upon him who is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground. I will pour My Spirit upon your offspring, and My blessing upon your descendants.
Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: I am the First and I am the Last; besides Me there is no God.

Fear not, nor be afraid [in the coming violent upheavals]; have I not told it to you from of old and declared it? And you are My witnesses! Is there a God besides Me? There is no [other] Rock; I know not any. All who make graven idols are confusion, chaos, and worthlessness. Their objects (idols) in which they delight do not profit them, and their own witnesses (worshipers) do not see or know, so that they are put to shame. Who is [such a fool as] to fashion a god or cast a graven image that is profitable for nothing? Behold, all his fellows shall be put to shame, and the craftsmen, [how can they make a god?] they are but men. Let them all be gathered together, let them stand forth; they shall be terrified, they shall be put to shame together.

And no one considers in his mind, nor has he knowledge and understanding [enough] to say [to himself], I have burned part of this log in the fire, and also I have baked bread on its coals and have roasted meat and eaten it. And shall I make the remainder of it into an abomination [the very essence of what is disgusting, detestable, and shamefully vile in the eyes of a jealous God]? Shall I fall down and worship the stock of a tree [a block of wood without consciousness or life]?

Isaiah 45:1-8,16,18,20-23 (Amplified) THUS SAYS the Lord to His anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have held to subdue nations before him, and I will unarm and ungird the loins of kings to open doors before him, so that gates will not be shut. I will go before you and level the mountains [to make the crooked places straight]; I will break in pieces the doors of bronze and cut asunder the bars of iron. And I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that it is I, the Lord, the God of Israel, Who calls you by your name. For the sake of Jacob My servant, and of Israel My chosen, I have called you by your name. I have surnamed you, though you have not known Me. I am the Lord, and there is no one else; there is no God besides Me. I will gird and arm you, though you have not known Me. That men may know from the east and the rising of the sun and from the west and the setting of the sun that there is no God besides Me. I am the Lord and no one else [is He]. I form the light and create darkness, I make peace [national well-being] and I create [physical] evil (calamity); I am the Lord, Who does all these things. Let fall in showers, you heavens, from above, and let the skies rain down righteousness [the pure, spiritual, heaven-born possibilities that have their foundation in the holy being of God]. Let the earth open, and let them [skies and earth] sprout forth salvation, and let righteousness germinate and spring up [as plants do] together; I the Lord have created it.

They shall be put to shame, yes, confounded, all of them; they who are makers of idols shall go off into confusion together.

For thus says the Lord-Who created the heavens, God Himself, Who formed the earth and made it, Who established it and did not create it to be a worthless waste; He formed it to be inhabited-I am the Lord, and there is no one else.

Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, you survivors of the nations! They have no knowledge who carry about [in religious processions or into battle] their wooden idols and keep on praying to a god that cannot save. Declare and bring forward your strong arguments [for praying to gods that cannot save]; yes, take counsel together. Who announced this [the rise of Cyrus and his conquests] beforehand (long ago)? [What god] declared it of old? Was it not I, the Lord? And there is no other God besides Me, a rigidly and uncompromisingly just and righteous God and Savior; there is none besides Me. Look to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other. I have sworn by Myself, the word is gone out of My mouth in righteousness and shall not return, that unto Me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear [allegiance].

Over and over in this scriptures God tells us that He is going to do a new thing. The only thing that you must do is to forget the former things and to know that an idol is nothing. God tells us that He creates and does things. He is the only God and there is none beside Him. He fills all in all.

Isaiah 46:4-9 (Amplified) Even to your old age I am He, and even to hair white with age will I carry you. I have made, and I will bear; yes, I will carry and will save you. To whom will you liken Me and make Me equal and compare Me, that we may be alike? They lavish gold out of the cup or bag, weigh out silver on the scales, and hire a goldsmith, and he fashions it into a god; [then] they fall down, yes, they worship it! They bear it upon their shoulders [in religious processions or into battle]; they carry it and set it down in its place, and there it stands. It cannot move from its place. Even if one cries to it for help, yet [the idol] cannot answer or save him out of his distress. [Earnestly] remember this, be ashamed and own yourselves guilty; bring it again to mind and lay it to heart, O you rebels! [Earnestly] remember the former things, [which I did] of old; for I am God, and there is no one else; I am God, and there is none like Me…

Isaiah 47:12 (Amplified) Persist, then, with your enchantments and the multitude of your sorceries [Babylon], in which you have labored from your youth; and see if perhaps you will be able to profit, if you will prevail and strike terror!

The most of us are not idol worshippers, but in order to have a revival, you must be thirsty for a new river to flow. God must be all in all. You must not exult demons and devils. 1 Samuel 15:22,23says that rebellion is witchcraft and stubbornness is idolatry. Saul was disobedient to God when he sacrificed to God instead of obeying and waiting for Samuel to come. Samuel told him that his disobedience was rebellion toward God. God does not want our sacrifices, but our obedience. When you exult your ideas above that of God, you are more important to yourself than God. You actually worship yourself and that is idolatry. It is not always someone that bows before craven images that is an idolater. When you have the attitude of doing things your own way, you are an idolater. You rebellious when you tell God that you do not want to do it His way or that you do not want to do it now.

Isaiah 55:1,12,13 (Amplified) WAIT and listen, everyone who is thirsty! Come to the waters; and he, who has no money, come, buy and eat! Yes, come, buy [priceless, spiritual] wine and milk without money and without price [simply for the self-surrender that accepts the blessing].
For you shall go out [from the spiritual exile caused by sin and evil into the homeland] with joy and be led forth [by your Leader, the Lord Himself, and His word] with peace. The mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree. And it shall be to the Lord for a name of renown, for an everlasting sign [of jubilant exaltation] and memorial [to His praise], which shall not be cut off.

Psalm 36, 63, 42, 65 & 133 says that when you hear of the things that God did before, you’ve got to get thirsty and ask God to pour out His Spirit. God will pour out water on them that is thirsty. Are you satisfied of what you have in God or are there something inside that says there must be more? Are you satisfied with what you got and with what you see? Your prayer must be filled with a desire for more of God. You must desire another experience of God. After you’ve seen mighty things that God did, you must be thirstier than ever before.

Thank You Jesus!
