Concerning Jesus of Nazareth

Luke 24:17

And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?

: 18 And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days?

: 19 And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth,

which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people:

: 20 and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him.

· He was already there, they just did not know it.
· He was mighty in works, and He was mighty in words.
· His father (Joseph) took Him divinely by a dream, and They went to Nazareth.
· In the chopping down of the house of Israel they still do not repent. This branch that came out of dry ground, was wounded for our transgressions.

Luke 24 – Forms the basis in understanding the Kingdom and deliverance.

After the Holy Spirit was poured out, and Jesus was glorified, He gave them the promise that they will be witnesses in Jerusalem, Samaria, Judea, and unto the utmost parts of the earth. He gave them the prophetic word that they will go out to all the earth, but they didn’t. After they received the Spirit, they stayed in Jerusalem.

In the meantime, Peter was praying on the roof of a house. He was fasting and praying in the house of another man –also called Simon-, and all of a sudden he got the vision of the sheet coming down from heaven with all the unclean animals. That was actually God trying to tell him to get out of Jerusalem and to go to the heathen nations.

Cornelius, who was an Italian, also got a vision to send for Peter who was in the house of Simon. So he sent three men to get him.

Peter got to Simon’s house and he started preaching, and this was the centre of the message that Peter preached in the household of Cornelius: Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Ghost and with Power/Fire (depending on the translation). He went about, doing good, healing all who were oppressed of the devil for God was with him.

Luke 24:15 – and while they were conversing and discussing together, Jesus Himself caught up with them and was already accompanying them.

He caught up with them, but He was actually already accompanying them, so He knew what they were conversing about. He knew exactly what they were talking about. His company was already there, they were just not aware of it… In the flesh He all of a sudden just appeared and caught up with them.

:16 – But their eyes were held, so that they did not recognise Him.
:17 – And He said to them, What is this discussion that you are exchanging (throwing back and forth) between yourselves as you walk along? And they stood still, looking sad and downcast.
:18 – Then one of them, named Cleopas, answered Him, Do you alone dwell as a stranger in Jerusalem and not know the things that have occurred there in these days?
:19 – And He said to them, What (kind of) things? And they said to Him, About Jesus of Nazareth, Who was a Prophet mighty in work and word before God and all the people –

These people were in Jerusalem for the crucifixion, now they were on their way home. Every thing was gone that they believed in, but Jesus said; In three days I will rise again. So on the way to their homes, there came Jesus. He was already accompanying them, He was already there, and they just did not know it. In the flesh, He caught up with them, appeared to them and said; what are you talking about?
And they answered; do you not know the things that happened in Jerusalem?
He then asked; what things?
They replied; the things concerning Jesus of Nazareth. A Man that did mighty works, and He did great Power and He was mighty in works and He was mighty in words.

Jesus appeared to the rest of the disciples, and He said to them; But now I tell you, all of you that did not believe that I was going to rise, go wait in the city of Jerusalem, till you all are endued with Power from on High

Luke 24:49 says; And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

The same story you find in the book of Acts, when Jesus said; You shall receive Power when the Holy Spirit come upon you, and you shall be my witnesses…

Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

The Bible says in Acts 2 that when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord and in one place. Suddenly was what sounded like a mighty rushing wind, and the house was filled with noise, and tongues of fire came, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and Peter stood up and started preaching.

Acts 2:22 – Jesus of Nazareth, a Man accredited and pointed out and shown forth and commended and attested to you by God by the mighty works and (the power of performing) wonders and signs which God worked through Him (right) in your midst, as you yourselves know
:23 – This Jesus, when delivered up according to the definite and fixed purpose and settled plan and foreknowledge of God, you crucified and put out of the way (killing Him) by the hands of lawless and wicked men.
:24 – But God raised Him up….

· When Peter preached to the house of Cornelius he said; Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, God anointed Him with the Holy Ghost and with Power and He healed all the people.
· The people that were on their way to Emaus said; Concerning Jesus of Nazareth who was mighty in works and in words.
· Now Peter is preaching on the day of Pentecost, and he is saying; I want to tell you concerning Jesus of Nazareth. He was mighty in works, wonders, power and glory. This Jesus of Nazareth that you crucified, is the One that does the mighty works. This is the one that brings healing to the nation.

In 1946 God poured out His Holy Spirit in a fresh way all over the world, and especially in America. Within a years time there were 72 evangelists working in tents all over the nation of America. Every single one of them had a healing ministry, but not all of them stayed in the field. Some of them that got the anointing lived the life and they pressed through till the end, and they are still going today. They had something that the worlds until now have never seen again. The healing power that invaded the earth in the 1946’s was something out of this world.

Whenever they prayed for the sick, this is the way they prayed: “In the Name of Jesus of Nazareth…. “ I asked God if there is more power in the Name “Jesus of Nazareth”, than just in the Name “Jesus”? He replied; It depends on how deep your revelation is! It’s not really in a name, it’s in a relationship, but the more revelation you get on the Name, the more power can be released. So if you hear me pray, you will notice I pray in the Name of Jesus of Nazareth, because of revelation about that Name.

Acts 3:1 – Now Peter and John were going up to the temple at the hour of prayer, that is the ninth hour (three o’clock in the afternoon).
:2 – (When) a certain man crippled from his birth was being carried along, who was laid each day at that gate of the temple (which is) called Beautiful, so that he might beg for charitable gifts from those who entered the temple.
:3 – So when he saw Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked them to give him a gift.
:4 – And Peter directed his gaze intently at him, and so did John, and said, Look at us!
:5 – And (the man) paid attention to them, expecting that he was going to get something from them.
:6 – But Peter said, Silver and gold (money) I do not have; but what I do have, that I give to you: in (the use of) the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk!

Why didn’t he just say Jesus? Why did he specify Jesus of Nazareth?

Acts 3:7 – Then he took hold of the man’s right hand with a firm grip and raised him up. At once his feet and ankle bones became strong and steady.
:11 – Now while he (still) firmly clung to Peter and John, all the people in utmost amazement ran together and crowded around them in the covered porch (walk) called Solomon’s.
:12 – And Peter, seeing it, answered the people, You men of Israel, why are you so surprised and wondering at this? Why do you keep staring at us, as though by our (own individual) power or (active) piety we had made this man (able) to walk?
:13 – The God of Abraham and of Isaac and of Jacob, the God of our forefathers, has glorified His Servant and Son Jesus (doing Him this honour), Whom you indeed delivered up and denied and rejected and disowned in the presence of Pilate, when he had determined to let Him go.
:14 – But you denied and rejected and disowned the Pure and Holy….
:15 – But you killed the very Source (the Author) of life, Whom God raised from the dead. To this we are witnesses.
:16 – And His name, through and by faith in His name, has made this man whom you see and recognise well and strong. (Yes) the faith, which is through and by Him (Jesus), has given the man this perfect soundness (of body) before you all.

What name did Peter use? The name of “Jesus Christ of Nazareth”.

When they were amazed, he said; did you not know, if you’ve got faith in the Name of Jesus of Nazareth, you will see mighty works? You will see healings. Because, concerning Jesus of Nazareth, God anointed Him with the Holy Ghost and power, He went about doing good. Did you not know that Jesus of Nazareth was mighty in works and in words. Did you not know this Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the one that performed the miracles, the signs, the wonders and the healings? So they were brought before the Jewish council.

Acts 4:7 – And they set the men in their midst and repeatedly demanded, By what sort of power or by what kind of authority did (such people as) you do this (healing)?
:8 – Then Peter, (because he was) filled with (and controlled by) the Holy Spirit, said to them, Rulers of the people and members of the council (the Sanhedrin),
:9 – If we are being put on trial (here) today and examined concerning a good deed done to benefit a feeble (helpless) cripple, by what means this man has been restored to health,
:10 – Let it be known and understood by all of you, and by the whole house of Israel, that in the name and through the power and authority of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Whom you crucified, (but) Whom God raised from the dead, in Him and by means of Him this man is standing here before you well and sound in body.
:11 – This (Jesus) is the Stone which was despised and rejected by you, the builders, but which has become the Head of the corner (the Cornerstone).

This Jesus of Nazareth is the stone that the builders rejected. He is the chief Cornerstone. You rejected Him Peter said, but God made Him the chief Cornerstone.

Every time power and miracles are mentioned, the name Jesus of Nazareth is mentioned, so there must be something in it, especially if the 1946 healing revival was filled with people praying in that exact same manner. They didn’t pray in another way, and the sick they prayed for got healed.

John 18 – this is now Jesus in Gethsemane, before the crucifixion. We now stepped over the crucifixion, to the resurrection, to the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Let’s look just before the crucifixion when He was in the garden of Gethsemane. Jesus was busy praying and they came to capture Him.

John18:4 – Jesus therefor knowing all things that should come upon Him, went forth and said unto them; Whom seek ye?
:5 – They answered Him; Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus said unto them; I am He. Who? Jesus of Nazareth. And Judas also which betrayed Him stood with them.
:6 – As soon then as He had said unto them I am He, they went backwards, and fell to the ground.
:7 – Then asked He them again; Whom seek ye? And they said;
Jesus of Nazareth.
:8 – Jesus answered them; I have told you that I am Him.

John 19:19 – And he put it on the cross, and the writing was:
Jesus of Nazareth, The King of the Jews.
20 – This title then read many of the Jews, for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city, and it was written in Hebrew, Greek and Latin.
21 – Then said the chief priest of the Jews to Pilate; write not, the King of the Jews, but that He said; I am the King of the Jews.
22 – Pilate answered; what I have written, I have written.

The Jews had a problem with the fact that they said He was the King of the Jews. Pilate had a revelation. His wife had a dream and the Spirit of God waked him up.

Mark 1:21 – And they went into Capernaum and straight away on the Sabbath day He entered into the Synagogue and taught.
22 – And they were astonished at His doctrine, for he taught them as one who had authority and not as the scribes.
23 – And there was in the synagogue a man with an unclean spirit and he cried out;
24 – Let us alone, what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? Are though come to destroy us? I know thee who thee are. The Holy One of God.
25 -And Jesus rebuked him saying; Hold thy peace and come out of him.
28 – And immediately His fame spread abroad through all the region and round and about of Galilee.

Why did the demon say; we know that You are Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us before the time? If You are Jesus of Nazareth, it means that you are going to drive us out. That’s why sickness is from the devil. If you say Jesus of Nazareth, the sickness must bow. If you just say Jesus, the devils do not always know if you are talking about the right Jesus. There were many Jesus’ in Nazareth but not all were called Jesus of Nazareth. There was just one, and every time they called Him that, it was by revelation.

Matt 2:19 – But when Herod died, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream in Egypt
20 – And said; Rise, (tenderly) take unto you the Child and His mother and go to the land of Israel, for those who sought the Child’s life are dead.
21 – Then he awoke and rose and (tenderly) took the Child and His mother and came into the land of Israel.
22 – But because he heard that Archelaus was ruling over Judea in the place of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there. And being divinely warned in a dream, he withdrew to the region of Galilee.
23 – He went and dwelt in a town called Nazareth, so that what was spoken through the prophets might be fulfilled: He shall be called a Nazarene (Branch, Separated One).

Jesus of Nazareth! His father took Him, divinely by a dream, and they went to Nazareth. They stayed there so that the words of the prophets might be fulfilled, because the prophets prophesied that He would be called; Jesus of Nazareth.

Though no where in the Old Testament do you find the word Nazareth. Neither do you find the word Nazarene. If the Bible says that they stayed in Nazareth so that it must be fulfilled what the prophets said, there must be a revelation to it.

John 1:45 Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. : 26 And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth?

NAZARETH – Naza is a Hebrew word for a branch of no significance.
Eth means a small village of no significance.

Jesus went to stay in Nazareth. He was a branch that was so insignificant that people did not even look at Him, in a village so insignificant that people would not even look at him.

Matt 3:1 – In those days came John the baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judea, saying;
2 – Repent ye, for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand.
7 – And when he saw many of the Pharisees and the Sadducees coming to his baptism and he said unto them; O ye generation of vipers! Who have warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

He said to them; You generation of vipers. Who are you to come and be baptised by me? Do you think you can flee from the wrath of God if I baptise you?

: 8 – Bring forth fruit that is meek to repentance, and think not to say to yourselves; we have Abraham to our father. For I say unto you that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

People are trees, nations are trees, and an axe is used to chop down a tree. John is saying; You must bear fruit. Why do you think you can escape the wrath of God by being baptised? I say to you; because you don’t bear any fruit, you, the trees… you will be cut down.

: 9 – The axe is laid at the root of the trees, therefor every tree that not bringeth forth good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire.
: 11 – I indeed baptise you with water unto repentance, but He that cometh after I is mightier whose shoes I’m not worthy to bear, and He shall baptise you with the Holy Ghost and with fire.
: 12 – Whose fan is in His hand. He will thoroughly purge His floor and gather His wheat, but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

John said; He’s got a threshing floor. There is going to be a wrath of God towards the generation that stood in front of John the Baptist. He said; you generation of vipers will not flee the wrath of God. You do not bear fruit, and God’s got an axe in His hand. After He has chopped down the trees, He’s going to put those trees on the threshing floor and burn it with fire! That’s the wrath of God.

The prophets prophesied that He will be called Jesus of Nazareth, but we don’t find the word Nazareth, in the prophets.

What does the chopping of the trees have to do with Nazareth?
Remember that Naza is a branch of no significance. Trees are being chopped down, but Naza is also a branch….

Isaiah 9:6 – For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father (of Eternity), Prince of Peace.
: 7 – Of the increase of His government and of peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David and upon his kingdom and to order it to establish it with judgement, and with justice from henceforth even forever the zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this
: 11 – Therefor the Lord shall set up the adversaries of Rezin against Him, and join His enemies together.
: 12 – The Syrians before and the Philistines behind and they shall devour Israel with open mouth. For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
: 13 – For the people turneth not unto him that smite them, neither do they seek the Lord of Hosts.

The Bible says; they turn not unto the Lord. It means that they do not repent. John the Baptist said to the Pharisees that they are not prepared to repent. There is evil coming against them.

God’s hand is stretched out, and this hand is busy chopping them down (the house of Israel). But in the chopping down of the house of Israel, they still do not repent. The hand stretched out is the axe.

: 14 – Therefor the Lord will cut off from Israel head and tail, branch and rush in one day;
: 15 – The ancient, the honourable, he is the head; and the prophet that teaches lies, he is the tail.
: 16 – For the leaders of this people cause them to err, and they that are led of them are destroyed.
: 17 – Therefor the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall He have mercy on their fatherless and widows, for everyone is a hypocrite and an evil doer, and every mouth speaketh folly. For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
: 18 – For wickedness burneth as the fire; it shall devour the briers and the thorns, and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest; and they shall mount up like the lifting up of smoke.
: 19 – Through the wrath of the Lord is the land darkened and the people shall be as the fuel of the fire.
: 21 …for all this His anger is still not turned away, but His hand is still stretched out.

Isaiah 10:3 – And what will you do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? To whom will you flee for help? And where will you leave your glory?
: 4 – Without Me they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain. For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is still stretched out.

: 15 – Shall the axe boasts itself against him who chops with it?…
: 16 – Therefor shall the Lord, the Lord of hosts, send among His fat ones leanness, and under His glory shall kindle like a burning of fire.
: 17 – And the Light of Israel shall be for a fire and His Holy One for a flame, and it shall burn and devour His thorns and briers in one day.
: 18 – It shall consume the glory of his forest and of his fruitful field, both soul and body, and they shall be as when a standard bearer fainted
: 19 – And the rest of the trees of his forest shall be few, that a child may write them.
: 33 – Behold the Lord, the Lord of hosts, shall lob the boughs with terror and the high ones of stature shall be hewn down, and the lofty shall be humbled
: 34 – And He shall cut down the thickets of the forests with iron, the Lebanon shall fall by a Mighty One

Isaiah 11:1 – But there shall come forth a Rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots
: 2 – And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might the Spirit of the knowledge and the fear of the Lord

· Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Ghost and with fire; He went about, doing good, healing all.
· The people that went to Emaus said; did You not know the things concerning Jesus of Nazareth who was mighty in works and in word?

Peter preached on the day of Pentecost and said; this Jesus of Nazareth is the Stone that the builders rejected, but He was mighty in words, and in wonders and in miracles. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth; rise up and walk! With what authority did he do it? In the name of Jesus of Nazareth.
· But what is Nazareth? Naza = Branch of no significance.
· Eth = is a village of obscurity/no significance.
· They crucified Him and said; He’s Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews. And they said; we don’t want Him as King of the Jews. Pilate said; that’s not the issue. The issue is that this is Jesus of Nazareth.
· John baptises them and says; why do you want to flee from the wrath of God? The axe is laid at the roots of all the trees because they do not bear fruit.
· But it must have been fulfilled that He was going to be called Jesus of Nazareth, because the prophets said so. Where did the prophets say it? Pick up the story in Isaiah 9,10 and 11.
· His wrath is like a fire. He’s got an axe in His hand and He’s chopping down trees left, right and centre. The whole field, the whole bush, the whole forest that is being called Israel is being chopped down.

There are a small number of trees that is so insignificant that a small boy can count it.

When we look over the field, we see that all the trees are chopped down, a fire devoured the bush and there’s nothing. Out of the stem of Jesse shall come a branch, and that’s the word Naza. That’s where the prophets prophesied; He shall be called Jesus of Nazareth.

When all the trees were chopped down, one stem was left over, and that is called the stem of Jesse. Who is Jesse? The father of David. Where did the branch come from? From the root of Jesse who is the father of David. Zechariah said; There shall come a Man who is called; The Branch. There’s a Man that shall come forth, His name is Naza. That’s how the prophets prophesied.

Isaiah 53:1 Who hath believed our report? And to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?
: 2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form or comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

Isaiah declares; This Branch that came out of dry ground was wounded for our transgressions, and bruised for our iniquities.

The prophets kept on prophesying that He should be called Nazareth. He shall be called Jesus of Nazareth, because He shall be Naza, a Branch that people will not look at. And He shall go and stay in Eth, a village with no reputation.

“Can anything good come out of Nazareth”? The word Naza means; there’s no nation, no tribe, nothing you can fall back to. Neither Jew, nor Greek, nor South African…All the trees have been chopped down. One stem stood over. The stem of Jesse. Out of that stem came Naza- a Branch- and on Him shall the nations hope.

If I speak that revelation, saying; Jesus of Nazareth, I say; that is the only tree that’s left over. If you interested to find your family tree…

If you’ve got a heart after revelation knowledge, every time I say; In the Name of Jesus of Nazareth, I say; this is the One whom the prophets said would cause the miracles to happen. This is the only branch that’s left. The axe cut down, all the other branches.

Only one Branch came out of one stem, and that’s the stem of Jesse. That’s why He’s called; Son of David.

In Mark.10 it says; Blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus was sitting at the wayside begging. And when Bartimaeus heard the noise, said; what is this? And they answered; Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.

The Bible says; and he started shouting; Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me! And the disciples said; I’m sorry sir, this is Jesus of Nazareth (not Jesus the Son of David). They told him to be quiet, but he shouted even louder; Jesus, Son of David…
They didn’t have the revelation. They said; this is Jesus of Nazareth. Bartimaeus on the other hand, said to himself; I’ve been blind all my life. The only thing I did was sit and listen to the prophets, and I heard that He should be called Naza, a Branch. So if this is the Branch, then He must come out of the stem of Jesse, so then this must be the Son of David, so then this must be the one of Whom the prophets said; He shall be the Son of David, and He shall sit upon the throne of David.

Nobody saw the revelation, except blind Bartimaeus.

He was never called Son of David, but Bartimaeus called Him; The Son of David. The prophets declared; He will be the Son of David.
In Chronicles we find; He will be the Son of David.
Samuel declared; He will be the Son of David.
Bartimaeus called Him the Son of David.

Jesus must have thought; my goodness, the revelation just struck. Come here Bartimaeus! What do you want? Go see! What a mighty revelation.

1. How they talked about the generation of vipers.
2. Every time they mentioned the vipers, they mentioned the seed of Abraham.

Rom.9: 7 – Not because they are the seed of Abraham are they children…. But in Isaac shall Thy seed be called.
: 8 – That is they which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God, but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

25 – As He sayeth in Hosea; I will call them my people, which were not my people, and her beloved which are not beloved.
26 – And it shall come to pass in the place where it was said unto them You are not my people, there they shall be called the children of the living God.
31 – But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, have not attained to the law of righteousness.
32 – Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were, by the works of the law, for they stumbled at the Stumbling Stone.
33 – As it is written, Behold I lay in Zion a Stumbling Stone, a Rock of offence, and whom ever believeth on Him, shall not be ashamed.

He says that not those who say that they are children, are children. Those that say that they are children because of the law, they rejected the Stone. In Matt. 21, Jesus told Israel that they rejected Him. They’re still rejecting Him today. They have never accepted Jesus. There is no more special race.

We must preach to the Jews, but in the same way we must preach to the Zulu’s. We must take the Gospel to the Jews, we must take it to the Sotho’s. Why put emphasis on a certain race, nation or country when Jesus already chopped down all the trees. Only one branch is left over, and that is the branch of Jesse, Jesus of Nazareth. How can you say that God loves Israel more than He loves Japan?

Rom.10: 16 – But they have not all heeded the Gospel for Isaiah says; Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?
: 20 – But Isaiah says very bold, and He says; I was found of them that sought me not, I was made manifested by them that asked not after Me.
: 21 – But to Israel he sayeth; All day long I have stretched forth My hand unto a disobedient people.

Rom.11: 5 – Even so then, at this present time also, there is a remnant according to the election. No! There is a remnant according to the election of grace.
: 6 – And if by grace, it’s not by works. Otherwise grace is no more grace, but if it be of works then its no more grace.
: 7 – What then? Israel have not obtained that which he seeketh for but the election have obtained it, and the rest were blinded.
: 16 – For if the first fruit be holy, the lump is also holy. If the root were holy, so are the branches.
: 17 – And if some of the branches be broken of, and thou being a wild olive tree, be grafted among them and with them partakers of the root and fatness of the olive tree.

Rom.9, 10 and 11 states that Israel did not accept Him. They did not accept Jesus, the trees were chopped down and the branches were broken off, but there is a branch left over, and He calls that the olive.

Olive = Oil = The Anointing = Christ = Naza.

It is only in Christ that you are elected, not in being a Jew, nor a Greek… You are elected if you are grafted in the olive tree. So, Jesse is; the olive tree, and Jesus is; The Anointed One. That’s where you need to be grafted in. If any man were in Christ, he is a new creation.

Rom. 11:18 – Boast not against the branches, but if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root bearest thee.

: 20 – says that because of unbelief they were broken off.

The Jews did not belief that Jesus was the Messiah.

Rom 11:20… and thou standeth by faith, be not high minded
: 23 – They also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in.

He says; all the trees were cut down. His axe was in His hand. He burnt them down with fire, but a stem was left over, the stem of Jesse, which is the olive tree.

A Branch came out their; Naza. All the people that hope in Him shall live. The only way you can be part takers of the election is by being grafted into the branch and if Israel don’t stay disobedient, they can also be grafted in. They are not children of God; they are not the people of God. They were the people of God, but they were cut down and they can only become children of God if they’re grafted in to the one branch.

26 – And so all Israel will be saved….

And so the whole world shall be saved. By being grafted in.

Paul is writing and saying; how can Israel now, that they are cast away, become children again? By being grafted in. Not by saying you area child of Abraham, that you are, but the children of the promise, are the true bride.

How can we then be the elected?
By being grafted into the root! The root of Jesse, the branch called Naza.

He is Jesus of Nazareth. On Him shall the nations hope? If you understand this, you understand the kingdom, because you don’t have to go to Israel to find Jesus.

They did not accept the days of visitation, so He turned His back on them, cut them down and said; Let’s leave the anointing. If you come into the anointing, you’re children of God, otherwise you are children of the devil – you are vipers. There is no more special nation.

When you pray for the sick, pray; In the Name of Jesus of Nazareth. Behind that word, is everything that you need. If you can see that He is Jesus of Nazareth, you’ll see that there is no more Jew, neither Greek. God has got no favourites or no nation. God only has people.

If you understand this, you won’t go to Jerusalem to find Jesus You’ll go on your knees to find Him. If you understand this revelation, you’ll know the power, because that’s the anointing.

Nazareth is anointed. If you understand this,
· you understand the kingdom,
· you understand the power,
· you understand sonship,
· you understand deliverance,
· you understand everything, because the word Nazareth contains it all.

The Spirit has to reveal it to you.

Jesus of Nazareth is the only tree that is left over. I have found my family tree, at last; the anointed ones, those that said Yes to Jesus, those that are grafted in. There is more to the name Nazareth, than what the eye can meet. There is revelation of all the power and all the glory.
