LIBERTY OF THE SONS

DISTRACTIONS OPPOSE FOCUSING ON JESUS

Hebrews 12:1-3 (Amplified) Therefore then, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who have borne testimony to the Truth], let us strip off and throw aside every encumbrance (unnecessary WEIGHT) and that SIN which so readily (deftly and cleverly) clings to and entangles us, and let us run with patient endurance and steady and active persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before us. LOOKING AWAY [from all that will DISTRACT] TO JESUS, Who is the LEADER and the SOURCE of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its FINISHER [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God. [Psalm 110:1]. Just think of Him Who endured from sinners such grievous opposition and bitter hostility against Himself [reckon up and consider it all in comparison with your trials], so that you may not grow weary or exhausted, losing heart and relaxing and fainting in your minds.

Two things try to beset us and they are sin and weights. Weights are things like depression, oppression, anxiety, fear and stress. Sin is the thing you do in your flesh that God is not pleased with. You must lay it aside and then focus on Jesus. You must look away from all that distracts you by laying aside the sin and the weights.

You must choose on which side you want to be, either being distracted by sin and weights or being focused on Jesus. What are you looking at? Are you looking at all your mistakes, sins and your troubles or are you looking at Jesus so that His Grace can be more abundant in your life and take you through troubles. He is the Author and Finisher of your faith. You did not start it, so you cannot finish it. You must trust in Him, focus on Him and have your eyes on Him. If you do that, it is easy to lay off the weights and the sins. If you are not focused on Jesus, it is hard to lay off the sins and weights. Do not concentrate on laying aside the sins, but concentrate on focusing on Jesus. The more you concentrate on looking to Jesus, the easier it is to lay aside the sin.

SLAVES OF SIN OR LIBERATED SONS IN THE HOUSE

In John 8:32 we read that you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. John 8:35-36 says that a servant or a slave does not abide in the house forever, but the son shall be in the house forever. Now if the Son has set you free, you are free indeed. The truth sets you free. The people that are not in the house are the people that are not free. They are not yet touched by truth that sets free. The opposite of freedom or liberty is bondage or Law. You are either a servant of sin and unrighteousness, or you are a son of the Living God.
You will either feel like a stranger in the house or you will always be in the house. To stay in the house you’ve got to get to the Son, Who will set you free and He is also the Author and the Finisher of our faith. You are either in bondage by sin and weights or you will be free by focusing on Jesus. You can be a slave of your flesh and your senses or a son of the Highest God.

Galatians 5:1 (Amplified) In [this] FREEDOM Christ has MADE US FREE [and completely LIBERATED us]; STAND FAST then, and do not be hampered and held ensnared and submit again to a yoke of SLAVERY [which you have once put off].

Galatians 5:1 (KJV) STAND FAST therefore IN THE LIBERTY wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of BONDAGE.

Stand in the liberty. Stand in the freedom. Don’t come under the Law and under bondage again, because Christ has set you free. When you keep on standing in that freedom, you will be free indeed. There is nothing like walking in total freedom and liberty. There is nothing like knowing that you are a son of God and that you are in the house of God. You are not a foreigner and a stranger, but you are part of the house of God.

TO KNOW THE TRUTH IS TO KNOW JESUS CHRIST

Galatians 5:7 (Amplified) You were running the race nobly. Who has INTERFERED in (hindered and stopped you from) your heeding and following the TRUTH?

In Hebrews 12:2-3 the writer says that you are to run your race with patience, with your eyes fixed on Jesus. Paul wrote to the Galatians and asked them who caused them to get out of the race, which they were running so well. The sin and the weights caused them to fall out of the race and missing the truth. John 8:32 says that the truth shall set you free. When you look away from the distractions, you will see Him and that helps us to lay aside the sins and the weights. That is the truth that sets free. When you look to the distractions and sin, you are not looking at the truth. The sin and the weights are the lies of the devil. When you qualify for the race and want to stay in the race, Jesus must be the Author and the Finisher of your faith and you must stay focused on Him.

THE SONS ARE LED BY THE SPIRIT

Galatians 5:16 (Amplified) But I say, walk and live [HABITUALLY] in the [Holy] Spirit [responsive to and CONTROLLED and GUIDED BY THE SPIRIT]; then you will certainly not gratify the cravings and desires of the flesh (of human nature without God).

You must make a habit of living and walking in the Spirit and then you will not fulfil the lusts of the flesh.

Galatians 5:17 (Amplified) For the desires of the flesh are OPPOSED to the [Holy] Spirit, and the [desires of the] Spirit are opposed to the flesh (godless human nature); for these are ANTAGONISTIC TO EACH OTHER [continually withstanding and in conflict with each other], so that YOU ARE NOT FREE but are prevented from doing what you desire to do.

In 2
Corinthians 5:17
the Word says that when you are in Christ, you are a new creation; the old things have passed away and all has become new. Don’t let people deceive you by telling you that you have an old nature or an ‘Adamic nature’. You don’t have the nature of Adam; you have the nature of Christ. You are born again of incorruptible Seed. The Seed and the Life in us are the Christ Life. Our desire is not to sin any more, but from time to time we do sin. 1 John 1:8 says that you are deceived if you say that you do not sin. Sin is not always only wicked things; but little things like being disobedient.

On the one hand we have the flesh and on the other hand we have the Spirit. When you walk and live in the Spirit, you will not fulfil the lusts of the flesh. If you do not live in the Spirit, you are not free and you are in bondage. If you do not listen to what the Spirit says and obey Him promptly, then the flesh and the Spirit are in opposition to one another. When you meet Jesus, the desire of your heart is to do what is right and to live right. Then sometimes you will struggle to do the right thing, because the flesh wants to dominate you. If you are not free, you cannot do what you want to do, because you are bound. You want to do the right thing, but you cannot, because you are bound. Christians want to work for God and do great things for God, but they are in bondage because the flesh is interfering with their spiritual lives. The flesh tells them that they cannot do this or that. We must make a habit of promptly obeying the Holy Spirit and that will make you free. When we are free, we can do what He wants us to do.

The sons are free. The servants and the slaves are not free and therefore not in the house.

MAKE A HABIT OF WALKING IN THE SPIRIT

Romans 8:13,14 (Amplified) For if you live according to [the dictates of] the flesh, you will surely die. But if through the power
of the [Holy] Spirit you are [HABITUALLY] putting to death (making extinct, deadening) the [evil] deeds prompted by the body, you
shall [really and genuinely] live forever. For all who are LED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD ARE SONS OF GOD.

When you make a habit of walking and living in the Spirit, you shall not fulfil the lusts of the flesh. When you live in the flesh,
the Spirit cannot lead you, for they are two opposing forces. When you make a habit by the Spirit to make extinct the deeds or the dictates of the body, it means that the Holy Spirit is leading you. When the Spirit leads you, you are a son of God.

Romans 8:15 (Amplified) For [the Spirit which] you have now received [is] not a spirit of slavery to put you once more in bondage
to fear, but you have received the SPIRIT OF ADOPTION [the SPIRIT PRODUCING SONSHIP] in [the bliss of] which we cry, Abba (Father)!
Father!

You become a child of God when you are born again. You’ve got to grow up into sonship and that means that you’ve got to choose to live
in the Spirit and not fulfil the lusts of the flesh. You must listen to the promptings of the Spirit and not obey the dictates of the flesh. When you obey the flesh, it will bind you so that you will not live in the Spirit and obey the voice of the Spirit.

GET FOCUSED ON THE UNSEEN

Galatians 4:1-7 (KJV) Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differs nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world. But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, to redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the ADOPTION OF SONS. And because you are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, ABBA FATHER. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

A doctrine was preached in churches that when we die, we will get our inheritance, but it is wrong, because you get an inheritance when somebody else dies. Jesus died to leave us that inheritance. The New Testament means that we are heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ. Our heritage is the Christ Life or the Anointed Life. We must come forth and look like Christ. We must walk and talk like Him. Romans 8:29-30 says that those that He foreknew, He predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son. When God made Adam, He made him in His image and in His likeness. Sin caused man to loose, but Jesus died to get it back. God prepared a body for Christ so that we can receive the Christ Life.

Most people will see the disobedient sons and help them right, but how many will see the obedient sons and move on to the Christ stature. If you are zoomed in to the negative, you will see the sin and the weights. Why don’t you look in front of you, forget the
past, see Jesus and run your race? People will chastise and rebuke when others are disobedient, but will they also help them when they are obedient? This is talking about the natural, but when you do it in the natural you will also do it in the spiritual. When you start being obedient in the spiritual, you get the inheritance that Jesus left us.

In 90% of houses the parents say that the children are breaking everything, but it is not so. There are days that they do not break anything. The parents do not tell them that they did not break anything that day, but when they break something, they tell them that
they are always breaking everything. People are missing sonship because of the way they act towards children. The way you act and react towards people makes you to have sonship or to miss it. If the Spirit leads you, you are obedient and then you are a son. There is nothing like an obedient child.

Romans 8:17,18 (Amplified) And if we are [His] children, then we are His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ
[sharing His inheritance with Him]; only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory. [But what of that?] For I consider
that THE SUFFERINGS of this present time (this present life) ARE NOT WORTH being COMPARED WITH THE GLORY that is about to be revealed TO US and IN US and FOR US and conferred ON US!

If you have started this race, you must run it with patience, because there will be trials, temptations, persecutions and sufferings. Jesus said that if you listen to His Words, He compares you to a man that dug deep and built his house on the Rock and when the storms
came – not if they came – he kept his eyes on the Author and the Finisher of his faith. (Matthew 7:24-25) You must run the race with patience and not look at the distractions.

When you complain about the sufferings, you are disqualified and you must go back and start over again. You were looking at the weights
and not to Jesus. When you run the race and things start going wrong, what is it that you looking at and what are you talking about? What is taking control of your mind? When you look at the distractions, the guy that was behind you will pass you by and when you get back in the race, you’ll ask what he is doing in front of you and then jealousy, strife and envy comes.
Then you will hear Christians say that others are not supposed to be in front of them. They are supposed to be in the gutter, but they are the ones struggling to get their eyes fixed on Jesus and away from the distractions.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (Amplified) Therefore we do not become discouraged (utterly spiritless, exhausted, and wearied out through fear). Though our outer man is [progressively] decaying and wasting away, yet our inner self is being [progressively] renewed day after
day. For our light, momentary affliction (this slight distress of the passing hour) is ever more and more abundantly preparing and producing and achieving for us an EVERLASTING WEIGHT OF GLORY [beyond all measure, excessively surpassing all comparisons and all calculations, a vast and transcendent glory and blessedness never to cease!]. Since we consider and LOOK NOT TO THE THINGS THAT ARE SEEN but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting), but the things that are INVISIBLE are deathless and EVERLASTING.

Jesus is the King Immortal, Invisible, Eternal and the Only Wise God. (1Timothy 1:17) You do not see Him with physical eyes. (1 Peter 1:8) You run the race by faith and not by sight. Then distractions come and when you look at them, you see them and when you talk about then, you establish them. You disqualify yourself from the race and the Spirit does not lead you. The flesh leads you and then you are in bondage by seeing things in the natural. Faith is the substance of the things hoped for and the evidence of the things not seen. By it the elders obtained a good report. (Hebrews 11:1-2) Abraham believed God even when everything was against him and he trusted God, Who calls the things that were not as though they were. (Romans 4:17-19)

When you listen to yourself, how many of your conversations were about your circumstances and not about the liberty and the freedom
of the Holy Spirit that is leading you? Do you remember the things you went through? Do you remember the good things of God? Do you remember the struggling and the sufferings of the past or do you focus and see the goodness of God in your life? You must focus on Jesus and go for more of Him and for hearing His voice. Are you distracted? Are your eyes fixed on the Invisible One; the power of the Christ, Who is ready to lead you into sonship?

CREATION IS FREE WHEN THE SONS ARE FREE

Romans 8:19-21 (Amplified) For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God’s sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship]. For the creation (nature) was subjected to frailty (to futility, condemned to frustration), not because of some intentional fault on its part, but by the will of Him, Who so subjected it-[yet] with the hope [Ecclesiastes 1:2]. That nature (creation) itself WILL BE SET FREE FROM ITS BONDAGE TO DECAY AND CORRUPTION [and gain an entrance] into the glorious FREEDOM OF GOD’S CHILDREN.

Romans 8:21 (KJV) Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious LIBERTY OF
THE CHILDREN OF GOD.

The whole creation is waiting to be liberated and to be set free. That will happen when God’s children are free and walk in their freedom or liberty as sons. People must walk in liberty and in freedom, but are walking under judgments, weights, misunderstandings
and sin. If we say that we are walking in liberty, where is our joy- complete joy, our peace- total peace and our life, life more abundantly? Christians come to church and walk out bound. They receive weights, rather than freedom in church. They look at one another and when the one does not greet the other, he nor she is offended and is weighed down. When you say that someone did not greet you, you are saying that you are not free. You are saying that you are not in the house and you are bound to your senses that are playing tricks on you.

Jesus was not at all distracted by the Pharisees and Sadducees and Scribes that were criticizing and judging Him. Jesus simply told the
man with the withered hand to stretch it out and he was healed. They were mad and kept on finding fault, but He knew what He was going to do. Jesus asked them if they would not loose or rescue a bound animal on the Sabbath. He was actually asking them about getting God’s people free who were bound. Jesus told them that He was free and that is why He is a Son. He was saying to them that they are bound and that is why they are servants.

In John 8:32 when Jesus told them that they shall know the truth and that it shall set them free, they said that they were not bound or a slave to anyone. They said that they were born free and children of Abraham. Jesus told them that if they were Abraham’s children, they would do the works of Abraham. Jesus told them that they were slaves and they were bound and that the devil was their father. Jesus was talking to the religious crowds.

Get away from the sin and the weights. Get away from the bondage and the legalistic stuff of the flesh. Get into the freedom and the liberty of the Spirit. Walk in that freedom and liberty, because that is what creation is waiting for. If they see your freedom and liberty, they will be liberated. Sickness is bondage and when we touch the people, they are liberated and they get healed. When we speak to the storms they listen to those that are free.

Creation is liberated when we are liberated. Creation is free when we are free.

MAKE THE SPIRIT THE LORD OF YOUR LIFE

2 Corinthians 3:16,17(a) (Amplified) But whenever a person turns [in REPENTANCE] to the Lord, the veil is stripped off and taken away. Now the LORD IS THE SPIRIT, and where the Spirit of the Lord IS…

When you repent, you come out of bondage. Repent means to change your mind and make the Spirit LORD of your life. We have made Jesus
the LORD of our lives. In Luke 6:46 Jesus says that they call Him LORD, LORD and do not do the things that He said. When He becomes LORD, you’ve got to do what He says. If you want to get out of bondage, you make the Spirit LORD of Your Life as well. If He is then LORD, He will lead you and when you are led by the Spirit, you are a son of God. When He leads you, you say "Yes" to the prompting of the Spirit. The more the Spirit leads you, the more you move into sonship and away from bondage into the liberty of the sons. If you repent and change your ways and say "Yes" to the Spirit to obey Him, then you are liberated.

The Spirit of the LORD "IS". That means that God said to Moses: "I AM." When they asked Jesus if He was older than
Abraham, He said that before Abraham was HE IS. When they wanted to capture Him in the garden of Gethsemane, they said that they were looking for Jesus of Nazareth and He said: "I AM." They fell to the ground because of the power of what it meant. If the Holy Spirit IS or He becomes "I AM", there is liberty. He becomes like God, the Father "I AM" and Jesus "I AM." When you pray and imagine the Father and Jesus and The Spirit that becomes "I AM", He leads you. Then you are free.

2 Corinthians 3:17,18 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the LORD is, THERE IS LIBERTY (emancipation from bondage, FREEDOM). [Isaiah 61:1, 2]. And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror
the glory of the Lord, are constantly being TRANSFIGURED INTO HIS VERY OWN IMAGE in ever increasing splendor and from one
degree of glory to another; [for THIS COMES] FROM THE LORD [WHO IS] THE SPIRIT.

The Spirit will change you and make you like Christ. The Spirit is leading you into sonship and you must obey Him. Jesus did not leave
us comfortless, but gave us the Holy Spirit and He leads and guides us into all truth. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth and when you know the truth, it sets you free. If the Son has set you free, you are free indeed. You walk by the Spirit to be liberated and where the Spirit of the LORD is LORD or "I AM" there is liberty.

REPENT

Firstly you must repent to make the Spirit LORD. When He is LORD, you say "Yes" to Him.

Ephesians 4:30 (Amplified) And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God [do not offend or vex or sadden Him], by Whom you were sealed (marked, branded as God’s own, secured) for the day of redemption (of final deliverance through Christ from evil and the consequences
of sin).

Redemption means that the flesh is no longer in control, but the Spirit.

Ephesians 4:31,32 (Amplified) Let all bitterness and indignation and wrath (passion, rage, bad temper) and resentment (anger, animosity) and quarrelling (brawling, clamour, contention) and slander (evil-speaking, abusive or blasphemous language) be banished from you, with all malice (spite, ill will, or baseness of any kind). And become useful and helpful and kind to one another, tender hearted (compassionate, understanding, loving-hearted), forgiving one another [readily and freely], as God in Christ forgave you.

2 Timothy 2:21-26 (Amplified) So whoever cleanses himself [from what is ignoble and unclean, who separates himself from contact with contaminating and corrupting influences] will [then himself] be a vessel set apart and useful for honourable and noble purposes, consecrated and profitable to the Master, fit and ready for any good work. Shun youthful lusts and flee from them, and aim at and pursue righteousness (all that is virtuous and good, right living, conformity to the will of God in thought, word, and deed); [and aim at and pursue] faith, love, [and] peace (harmony and concord with others) in fellowship with all [Christians], who call upon the Lord out of a pure heart. But refuse (shut your mind against, have nothing to do with) trifling (ill-informed, unedifying, stupid) controversies over ignorant questionings, for you know that they foster strife and breed quarrels. And the servant of the Lord must not be quarrelsome (fighting and contending). Instead, he must be kindly to everyone and mild-tempered [preserving the bond of peace]; he must be a skilled and suitable teacher, patient and forbearing and willing to suffer wrong.
He must correct his opponents with courtesy and gentleness, in the hope that God may grant that they will repent and come to know the Truth [that they will perceive and recognize and become accurately acquainted with and acknowledge it]. And that they may come to their senses [and] escape out of the snare of the devil, having been held CAPTIVE BY HIM, [henceforth] to do His [God’s] will.

We’ve been in bondage and we must be liberated. We must get away from the sins and the weights that so easily beset us. We must start
looking unto Jesus away from the distractions. We must walk in freedom and be led by the Spirit. Repent where you’ve grieved the Spirit. 1 Thessalonians 5:19 says that you must not quench the Spirit.

MAKE YOUR THOUGHTS OBEDIENT TO YOUR FREEDOM

2 Corinthians 10:1-6 (Amplified) Now I myself, Paul, beseech you, by the gentleness and consideration of Christ [Himself; I] who [am] lowly enough [so they say] when among you face to face, but bold (fearless and outspoken) to you when [I am] absent from you! I entreat
you when I do come [to you] that I may not [be driven to such] boldness as I intend to show toward those few who suspect us of acting according to the flesh [on the low level of worldly motives and as if invested with only human powers]. For though we walk (live) in the flesh, we are not carrying on our warfare according to the flesh and using mere human weapons. For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds, [Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasoning and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we LEAD EVERY THOUGHT and purpose away CAPTIVE INTO OBEDIENCE OF CHRIST (the Messiah, the Anointed One). Being in readiness to punish every [insubordinate for his] disobedience, when your own submission and obedience [as a church] are fully secured and complete.

You must get your thoughts obedient to be captives of your freedom. In Luke 4:18 Jesus said that the Spirit of the LORD is upon
Him. That means He is the Anointed One or the Christ. He said that He is Anointed to set at liberty those who are being made captive. When you were in bondage, you were captive. Now the Spirit of the LORD is upon Him to set you free. He sent us the Spirit of Truth so that we can always be in liberty. When you are now led by the Spirit of Truth and make Him LORD, you will walk in liberty. When you walk in liberty, the creation will see your liberty and will be liberated. Liberty means to take your thoughts and make them obedient to the Holy Spirit. Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit. Don’t quench the Holy Spirit. Always be ready to say "Yes" and when you are totally obedient, your thoughts will become obedient. Your thoughts are under your control.

Your spirit hears the Spirit. When you hear the Spirit telling you not to do something and you want to go and sort it out, you are quenching the Spirit. Then you come into bondage. Sometimes people will ask you why you do some things and you just know that it is the Holy Spirit that is speaking to you. Then they will ask if you cannot see and you know that you do not look at the things you see, but at the unseen things.

The light afflictions are preparing you for the glory of sonship. You must look away from the seen things to the unseen things. Sometimes in situations distractions want you to look at the seen things, but then you look to Jesus. When you look at the situations,
you are in the flesh and not in the Spirit. People will ask you if you can’t see with your eyes what is happening. In the flesh you will see everything. If you are in the Spirit, you give it time and wait for the prompting of the Spirit. Then, when you act, there is no quenching and grieving and you are liberated. When you go to bed, you are free. You pray to God and you are free.

Isaiah 10:27 (KJV) And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke
from off thy neck, and the YOKE shall be DESTROYED because of THE ANOINTING.

Yokes are bondages and they are destroyed because of the Anointing or the Holy Spirit.

Romans 7:18 (Amplified) For I know that nothing good dwells within me, that is, in my flesh. I can will what is right, but I cannot
perform it. [I have the intention and urge to do what is right, but no power to carry it out.]

The flesh and the Spirit are opposing one another. You will always have a struggle until you realize it. Paul says that he acknowledges
that in the flesh the desire to do good is still there, but the power to perform it, is not present. When the flesh starts to dominate, intimidate and dictating you, inside is a desire to do right. That is why you feel bad when you have done wrong.
You knew beforehand that you were not supposed to do it. That proves that you are not a son and still a child.

Romans 7:19-25 (Amplified) For I fail to practice the good deeds I desire to do, but the evil deeds that I do not desire to do
are what I am [ever] doing. Now if I do what I do not desire to do, it is no longer I doing it [it is not myself that acts], but the sin [principle] which dwells within me [fixed and operating in my soul]. So I find it to be a law (rule of action of my being) that when I want to do what is right and good, evil is ever present with me and I am subject to its insistent demands.
For I endorse and delight in the Law of God in my inmost self [with my new nature]. [Psalm 1:2]. But I discern in my bodily members [in the sensitive appetites and wills of the flesh] a different law (rule of action) at war against the law of my mind (my reason) and making me a prisoner (BONDAGE) to the law of sin that dwells in my bodily organs [in the sensitive appetites and wills of the flesh]. O unhappy and pitiable and wretched man that I am! Who will release and deliver me from [the shackles of] this body of death? (BONDAGE) O thank God! [He will!] through Jesus Christ (the Anointed One) our Lord! So then indeed I, of myself with the mind and heart, serve the Law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.

Romans 8:1-5 (Amplified) Therefore, [there is] now no condemnation (no adjudging guilty of wrong) for those who are in Christ Jesus,
who live [and] walk not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the Spirit. [John 3:18]. For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has freed me from the law of sin and of death. For God has done what the Law could not do, [its power] being weakened by the flesh [the entire nature of man without the Holy Spirit]. Sending His own Son in the guise of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, [God] condemned sin in the flesh [subdued, overcame, deprived it of its power over all who accept that sacrifice], [Leviticus 7:37]. So that the righteous and just requirement of the Law might be fully met in us who live and move not in the ways of the flesh but in the ways of the Spirit [our lives governed not by the standards and according to the dictates of the flesh, but controlled by the Holy Spirit]. For those who are according to the flesh and are controlled by its unholy desires set their minds on and pursue those things which gratify the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit and are CONTROLLED BY THE DESIRES OF THE SPIRIT SET THEIR MINDS ON and SEEK THOSE THINGS WHICH GRATIFY THE HOLY SPIRIT.

What are you looking at and where is your attention? What do you see and who do you listen to? Whose voice do you obey? When someone
tells you to go and sort things out, it is flesh. The Spirit will tell you to wait a little bit. When you obey Him, there IS the Holy Spirit and there is liberty. When you are driven by your flesh, you are unhappy. There are many people in the church who are unhappy. They get happy when there is a Spirit of joy, but are we happy during the day? People are getting upset about almost everything and they are unhappy, which means that they are bound and not free.

Step into liberty and repent. Make the Holy Spirit the LORD of your life and get your thoughts under His control and obedience to Christ. Get the Anointing to break the yokes in your life. Listen to the prompting of the Spirit and be led by the Spirit. Refuse to be unhappy any longer. People greet each other: "What is wrong?" "What happened?" "Is everything all right?" "What is wrong with that one?" They want to find out what is wrong with all the people. All of us will become happy when we are in the Spirit and tell one another of God’s goodness.
