In Matthew 11:28 Jesus said, “Come unto Me all who labor and are heavy laden and you will find rest. Learn of Me for I am meek and humble of heart and you will find rest for your soul.” In John 7:37-39 Jesus said that any man who thirsts must come unto Him. He that believes, out of his belly, shall flow rivers of living waters. In John 4:14 Jesus said to the woman at the well that if she drinks of the water that He shall give to her, she shall never thirst again and it shall spring up in her a fountain of water to life everlasting.

Hebrews 4:1-3(a) (KJV) Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of ENTERING INTO HIS REST, any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. For we, which have believed do ENTER INTO REST…

If you come unto Jesus, you will enter into rest.

Hebrews 4:3 (KJV) For we, which have believed, do enter into rest, as He said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD.

Christ was crucified from the foundation of the world. The work that was finished from the foundation from the world was the crucified work. Christ died and was raised so that we can come to Him and find rest. We can come to the place, which Christ entered and opened up when He died.

Hebrews 4:4-12 (KJV) For He spoke in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did REST the seventh day from all his works. And in this place again, If they shall ENTER INTO my rest. Seeing therefore it remains that some must ENTER THEREIN, and they to whom it was first preached ENTERED NOT in because of unbelief. Again, he limits a certain day, saying in David, “Today, after so long a time; as it is said, “Today if you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.” For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. There remains therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is ENTERED INTO HIS REST, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labor therefore to ENTER INTO THAT REST, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. For the WORD of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Hebrews 4:12 (Amplified) For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.

The Word of God is also as the rain (Isaiah 55:10-11). It falls and does what it must do and does not return empty or void back to God.

Hebrews 4:13-14 (KJV) Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. Seeing then that we have a Great High Priest that is passed INTO THE HEAVENS, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

We must enter into the rest of God. Jesus entered into the heavens and He tells us to come unto Him. We can now enter into the heaven.

Hebrews 4:15-16 (KJV) For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore COME BOLDLY UNTO THE THRONE OF GRACE, that we may obtain mercy, and FIND GRACE to help in time of need.

Jesus entered into heaven and sat down on the Throne. God is now resting from His works; Jesus is God. You rest when you sit down. You must now labor to enter into the place where Jesus is and there with Him, you will find rest. You can relax with Him. If you can find out how to enter into that rest, you can get to the Throne of Grace. When you enter there, you find grace to help in time of need.

There are times in your life that you are in desperate need of God. We need God every minute of our lives. You need grace to be able to be helped. God helps you, but the thing He uses is grace. It is free and it is beyond our human abilities and capabilities. It is beyond our talents and it is something that you do not deserve. You can get it without earning it. You must only labor to enter in and to come unto Jesus where He is sitting on His throne. If you can enter to where He is sitting on His throne, He will give you grace to be able to help you in the thing that you need. That grace is beyond your abilities. You only labor to get to the Throne.

Psalm 23 says that the LORD is our Shepherd and we shall not be in want. We find grace to help in time of need according to Hebrews 4, but if He becomes your Shepherd, you shall not want. He will lead to green pastures and to waters where there is rest. Jesus says that we must come to Him and find rest. When you come to Him, there will be rivers of living waters and it will even flow out of you. When you drink it, it becomes a fountain. When you labor to enter the Throne and the rest, you will find waters of rest.

Revelation 22:1-3 (KJV) And he showed me a pure RIVER OF WATER of life, clear as crystal, proceeding OUT OF THE THRONE of God and of the Lamb. IN THE MIDST OF THE STREET OF IT, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him.

John saw a river of water that came out of the throne of God. “In the midst of the street of the river…” means that the river had a street. A street is a way or a road.

You can’t put the street apart from the river. The church taught that there are golden streets and the river, but the two cannot be separated. When they are separated, you get problems with doctrines. All scripture is given for doctrine. That means that scripture must prove doctrine. It must not produce doctrine that brings division and that cannot be proven by the Word from Genesis to Revelation. The minute you’ve got a river and there is not a street or a street and there is not a river, you’ve got doctrines that split churches and people.

There is a river and it has a street. Jesus said that you must come to Him and find rest. At this river there is healing, provision and there no curses. If you can get there, there is grace to help you to come to a place where you will want nothing. The LORD that is your Shepherd entered into to lead you unto.

The Throne of God has glory around it and out of it flows the river of life.

Ezekiel 47:1(a) (Amplified) Then he [my guide] brought me again to the door of the house [of the LORD-the temple]…

Ezekiel was caught up in the Spirit the same way as John in Revelation. The temple that was built was a follow-up of the tabernacle that Moses built. The tabernacle was an example or shadow of the real heavenly tabernacle.

Ezekiel 47:1(b)-6(a) (Amplified) …and behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the temple toward the east, for the front of the temple was toward the EAST. And the waters came down from under, from the right side of the temple, on the south side of the altar. Then he brought me out by the way of the north gate and led me around outside to the outer gate that faced EAST, and behold, waters were running out on the right side. And when the man went on EASTWARD with the measuring line in his hand, he measured a thousand cubits, and he caused me to pass through the waters, waters that were ankle deep. Again he measured a thousand cubits and caused me to pass through the waters, waters that reached to the knees. Again he measured a thousand cubits and caused me to pass through the waters, waters that reached to the lions. Afterward he measured a thousand and it was a river that I COULD NOT PASS THROUGH, for the waters had risen, waters to swim in, a RIVER that could NOT be PASSED OVER OR THROUGH. And he said to me, Son of man, HAVE YOU SEEN THIS?

An angel took Ezekiel to the temple, where the real throne of God is and not the Ark of the Covenant. He brought him to the gate that faced east and then to the north gate. Then he led him out and brought him back through the east gate that faced the entrance. The water flowed out toward the east. The man moved eastward and first the water was ankle deep, then knee deep and eventually it was too deep to pass through.

Ezekiel 47:6(b)-8(a), 9 (Amplified) Then he led me and caused me to return to the bank of the river. Now when I had returned, behold, on the bank of the river were very many trees on the one side and on the other. Then he said to me, these waters poured out toward the eastern region…
And wherever it goes every living creature… shall live. …Because there waters go there that the waters may be HEALED and made fresh; and everything shall LIVE wherever the river goes.

Jesus says that you must come to Him, no matter what you want or need. It does not matter what the sickness or problem is; the only thing that you must do is to come and find rest. When you come, you must realize that He is now on the throne. It is a place of rest and out of the Throne and the Lamb proceeds a river of life. In the street of that river there is life. The way that this river forms or the way that the river flows brings rest.

The east gate is the entrance to the temple and out of it issued waters of life. The man led him eastward and the further they went, the deeper the water got. It became too deep to pass through and the man brought him out to the bank to see what was going on there in those deep waters. There was life, health, provision and everything that you needed. People want to come in the river, but they first have to come to Jesus. When you come to Him, He will lead you out into the river that flows toward the east. “East” means a new day. The further you go east, the further you go to a new horizon or a new day or a new beginning. Then He will let you stand on the bank to see the provision and the health and everything that you need. People want to come to the river without going to the Throne.

Hebrews 4 says that we must come boldly to the throne of grace to find help in time of need so that we can get the grace we need to help in that time. When you get to the Throne, you will get in and He will take you out. Mount Zion, the city of the LORD, is on the north. Mount Zion is you and He will take you to the east gate and then show you north, which means that He shows you who you are. Then He shows you the entrance, the place where you have to move to. Then He takes you eastward with the flow of the river to have a new day of peace and joy and happiness and breakthrough.

Isaiah 42:8-9 (KJV) I am the LORD: that is My Name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither My praise to graven images. Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they SPRING FORTH I tell you of them.

“Spring forth” talks about a fountain. There are various types of fountains, but when it springs forth, it causes a river. There are springs and there are fountains, but if it springs forth as a fountain, it causes a river.

When we talk about former things, we talk about the past. God says that we must look away from the former things. The former things cause you to pitch a tent in the valley. The tent turns into a Holiday Inn and you think that you must stay there forever. God does not want us to stay there, but press in and come to Him. We must labor to get into the rest and not labor to get answers to prayers. You must not labor to get victory over sin or sickness. Labor to enter the rest at the Throne of Grace. When you get there, you will get grace to help you to get over the thing that you struggle to get over. When you get in, He will lead you out toward the east, to a new day and it will spring forth into a river of life.

You must make a quality decision to have a breakthrough! Or do you want to struggle for the rest of your life? God is not a respecter of a persons and He does not favor one person above another! Some people simply trust God for what He says. Others struggle to take God at His Word.

What are you laboring for?

Are you laboring to enter into?

Or are you laboring to get victory over?

Isaiah 43:18 (KJV) Remember you NOT the FORMER THINGS, neither consider the THINGS OF OLD.

People make all kinds of excuses to talk about the past. Yesterday is gone forever. Jesus came to give us life.

Isaiah 43:19 (KJV) Behold, I will do a NEW THING; now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a WAY in the wilderness and RIVERS in the desert.

“And” is typed in cursive which means that it was not in the original text. It reads like this: I will even make a way in the wilderness, river in the desert. The river does not get deeper as you come to God, but deeper as you go from Him to the new day. You do not go away from God. God is doing a new thing and the way it will spring forth is a way in the desert, which is a river. When you are in a desert, a situation and you want to get out of it, you pray, seek and fast for a breakthrough. Now God says that you must labor to enter into His rest. You must come to Him. He will give you the grace you need to help you. That grace will lead you on a new way to a new day. He will make the way in that desert, which is a river.

God’s Throne is not in a specific place. Heaven is His Throne and the earth is His footstool (Isaiah 66:1). When you stand on the earth, the heaven is all around you. Then the throne is all around you. When you came to the Throne, He will get you out of your desert. He will take you to the east and show you the river. That is the way that He made for you. You can go in ankle deep and come out again and feel the heat of the desert or you can go with your guide to where it is so deep that He must bring you out so that you will be in the desert again. Now you will see there is all you need. The water is so deep that you will not be able to pass through it again. You will stay in it. God leads you out of your desert into the river that is out of your desert.

Isaiah 35:1-10 (Amplified) The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad; the desert shall rejoice and blossom like the rose and the autumn crocus. It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice even with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, the excellency of [Mount] Carmel and [the plain] of Sharon. They shall see the glory of the LORD, the majesty and splendor and excellency of our God. Strengthen the weak hand and make firm the feeble and tottering knees. Say to those who are of a fearful and hasty heart, Be strong, fear not! Behold your God will come with vengeance; with the recompense of God He will come and save you. Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap like a hart and the tongue of the dumb shall sing for joy. For WATERS shall break through IN THE WILDERNESS AND STREAMS IN THE DESERT. The burning sand and the mirage shall become a pool and the thirsty ground SPRINGS OF WATER; in the haunt of jackals, where they lay resting, shall be grass with reeds and rushes. And A HIGHWAY shall be there, a WAY; and it shall be called THE HOLY HIGHWAY. The unclean shall NOT PASS OVER IT, but it shall be for the redeemed; the wayfaring men, yes, the simple ones and fools, shall NOT ERR IN IT AND LOOSE THEIR WAY. No lion shall be there, nor shall any ravenous beast come up on it; they shall not be found there. But the REDEEMED SHALL WALK ON IT. And the ransomed of the Lord shall return and come to Zion with singing, and everlasting joy shall be upon their heads; they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

God says that you can live and can have the victory. We’ve been fighting so hard to live and get the victory instead of just entering in. He will lead you out again of your desert, your situation and your problem. He leads you out in the way, which is a river. You must get into the depth of the river so that you cannot get out again. There is healing and breakthrough. We’ve all been seeking the wrong way. We try so hard and labor instead of just coming to Jesus. The gospel is so simple and we want to make it so difficult. The answer is right in front of us. We must simply come to Him. He is on the Throne in heaven right here by you. When you’ve entered, He will lead you out. He leads you in the river in the way toward a new day. There a new thing will spring forth because you forget the old things. When you are in the depth, the lame walk, the blind see, the deaf hear, the dumb talk and situations change. You must leave the desert behind. Stop eating the desert sand. God makes ways out of deserts. When you stay there in the desert you will turn to bones. Then you need a prophet to prophesy life into the bones. Get life and swim in the river of the LORD.
