Who we are.

Here’s the deal, Spirit Word House cares about one thing more than anything else, Jesus Christ. Spirit Word House is a family of individuals that have found hope in Jesus, and simply want as many people as possible to experience that exact same freedom.

Where we come from.

Spirit Word House (formerly known as Spirit Word Ministries) was started in 1975 by Prophet Kobus van Rensburg. Back then, Prophet Kobus imagined a church that was truly welcoming to everyone – where everyone had a seat at the table regardless of personal history, family background, or ethnicity.

Where we're going.

What’s the bottom line? More than ever, Spirit Word House is committed to build and foster a family. A family that cares for and supports each other. As we move forward as a church family, inclusion and belonging remain at the center of who we are as followers of Christ.
