Faith in Action

We are living in a very interesting time. Scary and exciting at the same time, with the development of AI ( artificial intelligence. ) Even with the creation of machines, the new world is merely a copy of what we already are! We as humans work similar to a computer program. Data gets put in and processed in the mind and then starts the creating part.

Wisdom is an input, understanding is the process and then the production starts.

Action without wisdom alone will result in poor or ineffective, temporary results.
Wisdom is the principle thing but its not the only thing. ( Very Important ).

Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom:
and with all thy getting, get understanding.

Proverbs 4:1-9

James talks about wisdom

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

James 1:5

Now if we look at James 1 again, that is the verse we so often quote just before a prayer meeting or in a dire situation: God give me wisdom. God is not a liar so if His word says He gives then it means you have received, but do we understand the wisdom that has been freely given?

The wisdom needs to become part of our being.

When we move, it’s God moving, and when we Speak, it’s God speaking, and in that seeing the results that the word talks about so often. Then jump down to chapter 3. Wow! Wisdom always chooses the road with the perfect outcome and not always the easiest road.

Back up to chapter 1

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

James 1:22

Wisdom means nothing if not understood and then practiced. God is wisdom and sometimes we confuse wisdom and understanding with faith.

There is no such thing as blind faith.

Faith is a result of wisdom mixed with understanding.

Hebrews 11 By faith the world was framed and then in verse 6: But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

This clearly states that only faith can please God, and this is that faith: You must believe that He is… not a maybe, not praying, asking and hoping that it is so. No! its a sure thing. HE IS!
Faith is a knowing and understanding who God is and what He has already done for you.

Hebrews 6: Let’s move on to perfection

What is this perfection? If James talks about perfection in chapter one he states that perfect faith comes through trials and temptations. So experience produces the fruits of faith. Faith is the outcome of the word we believe.

We live by faith

James he says that faith without works is dead, so unless we step out and experience our faith in action, we will never truly see the word manifest in our lives. You see, wisdom requires thinking and success requires planning. Faith requires believing. When you put all of them together you get understanding.

Faith in action is wisdom understood.
