The Cross Reflects the Throne

In Hebrews 12, the writer says, “Looking unto Jesus..”

The question you are faced with is : How ? This mystery is revealed by two powerful things God told Moses

to do, and the revelation which John had on Patmos.

When building the Tabernacle, and then inside of it the Holy of Holies (‘There’  where God met with him and spoke to him; Exodus 24), Moses build an Ark and on top of the Ark a ‘Mercy Seat’ where the blood of the sacrificial lamb was sprinkled. In Hebrews 4:14 through Hebrews 12:24 we see that Jesus entered into the true Tabernacle to sprinkle His blood once and for all, so that we can now boldly come to the Throne of Grace (Mercy Seat) to receive mercy to obtain grace.
